Inflation and food prices going up

As expected, food prices and inflation will follow with it.

It has been a long issue with either a 50km ban or foreign cars pumping at unsubsidised rate at Malaysia, it has finally comes to this. Fuel subsidy to be withdrawn, affecting both Malaysians and foreigners.

The higher fuel price means it costs more to transport food, etc to Singapore. The higher transportation costs mean the goods, mainly food, will increase. News has reported that vegetables and poultry have already increase by a small amount.

With the Malaysia government set to remove all subsidies within a short period, the price will continue to escalate.

Well done.
