Faster web experience!
New Tech Stuff updating~!
Found this Firefox extension when surfing one of the forums I frequent. Adblocker Plus.
A good filter list (for SG only) can be found here. Subscribe to it and it will be updated automatically.
Purpose of this extension is to block advertisements on website and certain trackers tracking your movements on the net. Result is a faster surfing experience as less stuff will be downloaded and less information sent out.
Initial use has increased performance in loading that particular forum itself. However, it seems not to be that stable as it crashes a few times after prolonged use. A good companion will be using a Session Saver extension which will save your FF session whenever it crashes. Yet to use one as I am still reading up on a getting a good stable extension for it.
