Captain Tsubasa

Used to follow the manga of Captain Tsubasa when I was young and also played the NES and SNES version of the game

BQ told me there is a PS2 version and we got our hands on it.

Pretty okay game with total of 11 matches. Pretty small game. It is in Japanese but we can get by the simple menu and interfaces to play the game.

Quite nostalgia to relive some of the manga and the matches. Replay ability is quite low and very limited game play. I probably spent around 10 hours to finish the game and that is including replay of some matches to unlock the skills, though it is enough to get by without unlocking.

Music Movies

Not talking about musicals but shows with a good number of songs in it. I was thinking about the movie Music and Lyrics when this idea come into the mind, did they produce the songs before or during production.

There are probably a few songs which can be composed before productions such as the main theme song, Way Back Into Love, and some of Cora's songs. Some small little sound like Love Autopsy will have to fit in the script and guess is it quite difficult to come out with the song to match the script etc.

Found out about this website on a friend's blog. http://www.blogsvertise.com/

Normally I will not go check out urls links from blogs as I will end up following links and totally miss the content of the blog which is why I go to the blog for.
Decided to give it a try as I am waiting for my jobs to finish running and there is nothing much to do except to see sql statements being run.

Found that this particular site is actually another income-generating program specifically for blogs. Something new, I must say.
I have already Google Adsense on my blog here but I doubt it is generating much income for me.. actually none. haha.

Hopefully with this further incentive to blog, I can blog more often, more updates and yes, provide some income to.

A good recommendation for this site is to actually allow referrals, as it is an extra incentive.
Most time, I will strip away the referral part also so haha it might not work afterall.

Command And Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars

Just a particular troubleshooting tip.

If you are being booted out of the game and there is an error message which goes like CnC3Game.dat has error blah blah blah. Change your graphic details to set the shader detail a level higher than the lowest mode. It works for me. =P

Salary increment!

So is it a pay increment of A or B?

Received letter from GM with regards to pay rise, he actually called earlier to tell me he will be passing me the letter and to keep it confidential.
It was quite funny as he came out of the office with a closed big work diary, with letters in the middle on it. He walked up to me, slightly flipped over the cover, locate the letter and tried to pass me the letter secretly.
I hurridly took the letter from him and kept it. The scene was hilarious to me hahaha.

2nd increment for this half year. One is end of probation increment and this is the half-yearly pay rise and promotion period.

On looking at the letter, there is some discrepancy on the salary amount.

Previously, before probation ended, my salary is S1. After probation and increment, my salary is S2. The letter wrote that I be having a pay rise of A to S3. However, S2 + A is more than S3 but S1 + A = S3.
In short, the increment to my current salary will be higher than the final salary written on the letter. But if the increment is added to my initial salary, then it matches the final salary.
So am I getting a pay rise of A amount (my salary will be more than S3) or actually B amount (which is lesser than A amount) to make it to salary S3?

Will post here once it is sorted out.

called HR to ask liao. I email my GM and he say to call HR directly.
Seems like it was a big back mistake! haha. So I will be getting my increment A to get salary S3

New Games!

Went with dear dear to buy her NDSL Theme Park on Saturday at Comics Connection.

Currently, there is an EA promotion going on, buy 2 EA titles and get the 3rd EA title free. The titles can cross all platforms, as long it is an EA game.
The free title obviously is the cheapest title but minimum requirement is that all 3 titles must be at least $49.90.

So we choose NDSL Theme Park, PS2 Burnout Dominator and PC Command And Conquer 3, 3 original games at $114 ++.
Not a bad deal I feel. :P
